The BLM has released a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for recreation in the Molalla River Corridor. This recreation plan would end dispersed camping in the corridor and create three "primitive type" campgrounds in order to curtail the environmentally and socially harmful impacts of dispersed camping.

The BLM is currently accepting comments on their draft EA to be received on July 15, 2010. Email comments to Cindy Enstrom at cindy_enstrom blm.gov.
